Employment and the Workplace

  • Equal Employment Opportunity/Nondiscrimination
    We are against all kinds of discrimination and to ensure equal opportunity such as race, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability, marital status, membership of associations, sexual orientation or political opinion.

  • Child Labour
    We will not employ child labour or any person who is younger than 15 or younger than the age for completing compulsory education in Malaysia.

  • Hours of Labour
    Our employees are not be required to work more than 40 hours of regular work and 8 hours of overtime per week. Employees shall have at least two days off in every seven-day period, and shall receive paid annual and sick leave.

  • Coercion and Harassment
    We are strongly against any words or actions by any individual or group towards another that bothers, troubles, or annoys, or action that prevents or interferes with a person performing their duties in the workplace.

  • Compensation
    We pay each employee at least the legal minimum wage, or the prevailing industry wages, whichever is higher. These include compensation of workers for overtime in compliance with local laws.

  • Health and Safety
    We provide a safe and hygienic working environment, and occupational heath and safety practices for our employees, and seek continuous improvement of that environment.

Ethical Business Practices

  • Sensitive Transactions
    We require Directors, Employees and agents of the Company's position regarding sensitive transactions and requires that transactions are executed, and access to assets is permitted, only in accordance with the Corporate Governance and management's authorization.

  • Commercial Bribery
    We prohibit the payment or transfer of company funds or assets to suppliers or customers in the form of bribes, kickbacks or other payoffs and prohibit Company Directors, Employees and agents from participating in such schemes.

  • Accounting Controls, Procedures and Records
    We establish guidelines and procedures related to keeping books and records that in reasonable detail accurately and fairly reflect the Company's transactions and dispositions of assets. We maintain a system of internal accounting controls to ensure reliability and adequacy of its books and records and proper recording of all transactions including dispositions of assets.

  • Confidential or Proprietary Information
    In carrying out business, our Directors, Employees and agents often learn confidential or proprietary information about the Company, its customers, suppliers. This policy prohibits the unauthorized disclosure or use of confidential or proprietary information about the Company and Suppliers.

Monitoring and Compliance

    We have internal monitoring systems to ensure consistency in the ongoing management of implemented code provisions. A key distinction in our monitoring system of those elements of the code in the company that are quantitatively measurable and those that are qualitatively measurable. The workplace activities addressed in labour standards are often a function of dynamic interpersonal processes, thereby posing the challenge to objectively measure subjective human interactions.
